I must say I wouldn't wear half the stuff but a few pieces do stand out to me and I love the chose of colour, I think that was what drew me to watch the video.

Business cards

These are my business card. I used a design from my FMP. Really pleased with how they turned out, I didn't want them to fit in with my finals for FMP so I picked a design I wasn't using and used completely different colours. 

Textiles video

I've chose this vidoe because I found it very interesting. Its about 5 students talking through the 2 years they have been studing and problems they have faced and giving the us the listeners advise about the textile industry. They also talk about what they want to do after they have finished the course.

MA Textiles students at the RCA employ traditional and innovative skills while exploring constantly evolving materials and technology. They create diverse solutions that span many disciplines and design applications, including fashion, interiors, automotive design and gallery installation.

The interface between the materials and the make creates a challenging and dynamic environment, frequently employing multidisciplinary and collaborative methods to express the breadth of textiles, through the contexts of 'Body' and 'Space'.

Personal research and an individual design philosophy are at the heart of the Textiles postgraduate programme. Students are required to apply to one of the four MA Textile specialisms of Print, Knit, Mixed Media and Weave.

Textiles at the RCA has a thriving research community with twelve research students supervised by staff who are international experts in their field. The programme also houses the interdisciplinary 'Materials for Living' Research Hub.'

Paris

Here are some pictures from Paris. We went to premiere vision it was amazing to see everything meet the people who were there and to look at there design. I did take a few photos but then realised you weren't aloud too. Found this cute little shop that sold cameras old new, bits  off cameras and old films that people had left in them. Which I found quite interesting, would of loved to have bought one and got the photos developed.

Made in Jesmond

These are my final out comes for the made in Jesmond project. Which were put in the shop to be sold! I enjoyed this project because it was a live project which we got to work with a client. I knew from the start I wanted bright colours almost neon for my designs. My theme was keys, old and vintage. I'm very pleased with my finals
